Asking something complicated is difficult. On the phone it is more difficult.

You can use the following phrases to get information on the phone.

I'm calling to find out ...

I'd like to ask ...

Could you tell me ...?

I'm calling about ...?

I was wondering if you could tell me ...?

You could use these phrases in the following situations:

I'm calling to find out what time the movie starts tonight.
You want to know how much it costs to send a parcel to Australia.
You are ringing to see which is the earliest flight from Tokyo to Los Angeles.

込み入った事を尋ねるのは難しいです。特に電話での会話は難しいです。

電話で情報を得る時に使うフレーズ

〜を調べたいのですが。

〜お伺いしたいのですが。

〜教えていただけますか?

〜についてお掛けしてるのですが。

知りたいことがあるので、〜教えていただけますか？

下記のようなフレーズの時に使う事ができます。

今夜の映画は何時から始まるのか知りたいのですが。
オーストラリアまでの小包の送料がいくらか知りたい。
東京からロサンゼルスまでの飛行機で一番早いのはどれか知る為に電話をかける。

You can use these phrases to ask for information:

You could use these phrases in the following situations:

A: May I help you?
B: Yes, I'd like to know how much this computer is.

A: What can I do for you?
B: ... bicycle - how many gears ...

A: Yes?
B: ... lamp - what kind of bulb does it take ...

情報を聞く時に使えるフレーズ

〜を知りたいのですが

〜に興味があります。

〜を私に教えていただけますか？

〜をしっていますか？　

〜を見つけ出せますか？

下記のようなフレーズの時に使う事ができます。

A: お伺いしましょうか(いらっしゃいませ)。

B: はい。このコンピューターがいくらかしりたいのですが。

A: なにかお伺いしましょうか？

B: この自転車は何段階ギアがありますか ...

A: はい。お伺いします。

B: この照明はどの種類の電球を使いますか？

Often we have to ask strangers for information. You can use the following phrases:

Excuse me ...

Sorry ...

Excuse me for interrupting ...

May I interrupt for a moment ...?

... please.

You could use these phrases in the following situations:

Excuse me could you tell me how to get to the station?

How to get to the cafeteria.

Where to buy a new computer.

しばしば、私たちは知らない人に情報を聞いたりするために話しかけます。

下記のような感じで使う事ができます。

Use these phrases to interrupt someone when they are talking:

Sorry, but ...

Excuse me for interuppting, but ...

Can I add something?

Can I say something?

I'd like to comment on that.

You could use these phrases like in the following situation:

A: Last night I went to the soccer match ...
B: Excuse me for interrupting, but could you tell me who was playing?

誰かが話している会話の中に加わる時に使う言葉

すみませんが。。。

割り込んで申し訳ないのですが。。。

加わってもいいですか？

なにか話してもいいですか？

そのことでコメントさせてください。

下記のような場合に用いる事ができます。

A: 昨夜、サッカーの試合に行ってきました。
B: 話に割り込んですみませんが、誰がゲームしていたか教えてもらえますか？
